This section of the famous "Véloroute Rhin" runs along the left bank of the Rhine via Germersheim, Speyer and Ludwigshafen and Worms and has a large number of exciting sights to offer.
The Rhine Cycle Route runs through three tourist regions in Rhineland-Palatinate: From the border with France in the south, it crosses the Palatinate, Rhine Hesse and the Rhine valley until it reaches the NRW border at Rolandseck. It sometimes uses stretches on the towpath often under high rows of poplars directly near the banks, but also sometimes makes loops around arms of the Old Rhine or built-up areas.
