German Wine Route Cycle Route

Vineyards and Picturesque Villages Galore

On almost 100 km, we discover Germany's second largest wine-growing region and experience the sun-drenched Palatinate from its most beautiful side. The entire length of the cycle path crosses the western edge of the Rhine plain and crosses many valleys of the streams from the Palatinate Forest. The result is a constant up and down with sometimes short and steep crests. Countless wineries welcome the cyclists with open gates.
