Climbing on the German Wine Route


With its steep sandstone cliffs, the Palatinate Forest is an ideal climbing area. Especially in the southern part is one of the most impressive red sandstone landscapes in Germany. But even those who don't want to climb so high will find fun - especially around Dahn. Would you rather climb indoors? Then try one of the climbing centres along the German Wine Route. The numerous climbing forests and high ropes courses offer an equally extraordinary climbing experience. Here you can climb between trees and sometimes have to overcome artificial obstacles.
